ITV to air An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile

ITV has announced An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile, a new primetime concert special featuring live performances, stories about the pair’s careers and their enduring friendship, plus an intimate look at their new collaborative album, hosted by Dan Levy.
The music special will air on April 19th on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
Filmed on March 26th at The London Palladium and accompanied by a live band, the special will see Elton John and Brandi Carlile perform songs from their upcoming new album, Who Believes in Angels? (released on April 4th), play a selection of their individual greatest hits, and duet on some iconic tracks.
Between these performances, the pair will also invite the audience to a sit-down conversation on stage, hosted by Levy, that will pull back the curtain on their 20-year friendship and look into their lives and journeys. Plus they will take a look at exclusively shot, ‘behind the scenes’ footage from the making of the album.

An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile is produced by Fulwell Entertainment with Ben Winston, Gabe Turner and Sally Wood serving as Executive Producers. It was commissioned for ITV by Lily Wilson, Entertainment Commissioner.
