Volin named RSCC DG

Alexey Volin has been appointed Director General of Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC), effective immediately.
From July 2012 to October 2020, Volin served as Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. Не was responsible for the digitalisation of Russian television and shutdown of analog broadcasting.
He was awarded the Order of Honor, the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation and the Medal of Merit for contribution to information security. On three occasions, Volin received Certificates of Commendation from the President of Russia. He is an Honorary Radio Operator of the Russian Federation.
