Intelsat’s bankruptcy judge sets new date for SES
April 22, 2021
By Chris Forrester
The bitter C-band dispute between SES and Intelsat, and where SES is arguing for a greater share of the FCC’s incentive payments, will now be heard by Intelsat’s bankruptcy judge on April 27th.
The hearing, according to Judge Phillips’ decision, will be heard in camera.
The full transcript of the judge’s April 20th hearing has been restricted until July 19th.
However, the judge granted certain motions filed by SES on April 8th and requesting that key documents withheld by Intelsat be allowed to be seen [in camera, and by court-recognised professionals] including a request to re-open a deposition made by Bruno Fromont, Intelsat’s CTO.
