Movistar removes tie-in for Fusión subs
September 13, 2019
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Movistar has become the first Spanish telco to eliminate the obligation for new subscribers to stay with the company when subscribing to its Fusión service.
The clause will be removed for new and existing customers to make them feel “free to select whatever company for the quality and variety of its services”, according to Movistar.
The obligation to remain for three months for those who have just installed optic fibre has also been lifted.
