Apple big screen TVs?
February 8, 2011
Analysts Piper Jaffray believe Apple’s already working on plans to start shipping its own all-in-one connected 50in TVs by the end of 2012.
“(Apple) will enter the TV market with a full focus, as an all-in-one Apple television could move the needle when connected TVs proliferate,” said the firm. It makes its prediction based on unsubstantiated reports that Apple has been pre-buying a major supply of some unidentified part related to 50-inch television displays.
