LaLiga exploring next-gen fan engagement with Bitkernel
May 19, 2026
LaLiga has revealed that it is currently evaluating potential strategic collaboration opportunities with Bitkernel in the areas of digital streaming infrastructure, next-generation OTT ecosystems, and fan engagement innovation.
Bitkernel is a technology company focused on streaming infrastructure and OTT SaaS solutions. Its Goose platform provides scalable next-generation video solutions for sports organisations, media platforms, and operators through a Pay-As-You-Use white-label model, while continuously exploring video interaction, community operations, digital user growth, and Direct-to-Fan ecosystems.
Previously, both parties had already established a foundation of cooperation in OTT anti-piracy governance and technical collaboration. Based on a shared vision for the future of digital sports ecosystems, the two sides say they are further exploring potential opportunities in areas including Fan Engagement, Direct-to-Fan models, video-based community operations, and next-generation digital media ecosystems.
As mobile internet usage and younger audiences’ content consumption habits continue evolving, video-centric digital sports ecosystems are gradually becoming an important direction for the future development of the global football industry. In this context, LaLiga and Bitkernel are actively exploring potential innovation opportunities within this emerging landscape.
