Wowza appoints Corley as CTO

Wowza, a specialist in real-time video streaming technology, has appointed Jon Corley as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The appointment comes as Wowza advances its AI-driven streaming capabilities.
Corley will oversee Wowza’s technology vision, engineering roadmap, and product innovation strategy, driving the integration of AI across the company’s streaming platform. He will focus on enabling more intelligent and dynamic streaming experiences, helping developers evolve from traditional video delivery models to automated, AI-powered media pipelines designed for real-time scalability and adaptability.
Corley most recently served as Senior Vice President of Product & Platform Engineering at Internet Tool & Die Company, leading strategic technology initiatives. He previously held senior leadership roles at Comcast Technology Solutions, including Vice President of Product Development Engineering and Vice President of Content Delivery Network, advancing large-scale media delivery systems. Earlier in his career, he was CTO and Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Brightcove, where he led global engineering teams building scalable digital media platforms.
