Community Fibre reports record revenue growth

January 29, 2026

London-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) Community Fibre has announced a record year of annual revenue growth, up 48 per cent to £113 million (€130.5m).

Following the news welcomed by investors and shareholders today, Community Fibre also reported an adjustment in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to £49.8 million, up 530 per cent from 2024.

The fibre operator, backed by private equity firms Warburg Pincus, DTCP, Amber Infrastructure and RPMI Railpen, has been EBITDA positive since April 2024 and will be cash flow positive before financing costs in H1 2026.

Community Fibre’s base has now grown to 429,000 customers, up 26 per cent year-on-year, giving a take-up penetration rate of just under 32 per cent, also up 7 percentage points year-on-year. Currently, over one in ten Londoners use the Community Fibre service, making it the UK’s third-largest fibre operator & network by the all-important measure of customer numbers.

The latest results mark continued customer growth in both the consumer and B2B markets, translating into positive EBITDA and ultimately cash due to its lean operating model (OpEx is 12 per cent lower year-on-year despite rapid customer growth), positive wholesale launch with VodafoneThree and high levels of customer satisfaction. As London’s fastest and second fastest provider with a new wholesale partner in the pipeline, Community Fibre expects continued growth throughout the year.

Graeme Oxby, Chief Executive Officer of Community Fibre, commented: “Community Fibre is converting rapid customer growth and great customer service into strong financial results. These results are important to the wider Altnet industry, as it supports the Government’s desire to bring viable competition to the UK broadband market. Community Fibre has proven that new broadband competition can not only be financially sustainable in the long run, it can also deliver meaningful advantages to UK society.”

Olaf Swantee, Community Fibre Chairman, added: “Our 2025 results and strong outlook confirm that Community Fibre is leading the way in Fibre and is setting the benchmarks. Our strategy delivers best-in-class products, pricing, and service at the lowest unitary cost. As such, we have established the business as a trustworthy, innovative provider and a reliable investment proposition.”
