BBC Studios and CosmoBlue Media have announced a strategic partnership designed to expand their footprint across the Middle East and North Africa region and Turkey (MENAT).

This multifaceted collaboration will see the launch of a new general entertainment channel in the region, the integration of BBC Player into CosmoGO, and co-distribution initiatives for BBC Studios’ existing channel portfolio, tailored specifically for audiences in MENAT.

As part of the partnership, BBC Player – BBC Studios’ on-demand multi-genre service featuring dramas, documentaries and factual content – will be fully integrated into CosmoBlue Media’s streaming service, CosmoGO. This integration will allow audiences to access premium British content on-demand, anytime and anywhere.

The partnership extends beyond Turkey into the broader MENA region, where CosmoBlue Media will support managing the distribution of BBC First, BBC Earth and CBeebies across multiple countries. This strategic expansion will ensure that audiences across MENA gain broader access to BBC Studios’ premium content across both linear and digital platforms.
