Citing unprecedented “fan demand”, Prime Video has announced that the premiere episode of Fallout Season 2 will debut today [December 16th], one day earlier than previously scheduled.

The announcement was revealed on the Exosphere of Sphere in Las Vegas, bringing an element of the season’s journey to New Vegas to life by turning Sphere into a post-apocalyptic snow globe featuring series’ fan-favourite characters Lucy, Maximus and The Ghoul, and surprising with a monstrously large Deathclaw attempting to break through the Exosphere.

The eight-episode season will continue with one episode rolling out weekly until the season finale on February 4th 2026.

The new season of Fallout will pick up in the aftermath of Season 1’s finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias and Frances Turner.

Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios, executive produces along with James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Margot Lulick also executive produces. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

To date, Fallout Season 1 has amassed more than 100 million viewers worldwide, ranking among the service’s top three most-watched titles ever.  All episodes from Season 1 are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
