October 1, 2025

The FIA Extreme H World Cup Presented by PIF, the hydrogen motorsport championship, has confirmed a two-year broadcast partnership with Ziggo Sport, bringing the series to fans across the Netherlands.

The action will begin with Extreme E’s Final Lap on October 4th to 5th, a celebratory farewell to its electric racing, before the launch of the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup on October 9th to 11th, with both events happening in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.

The agreement ensures coverage of Extreme E and Extreme H in both English and Dutch, airing across Ziggo Sport’s linear channels, Ziggo Sport, as well as its digital platform, Ziggo Sport Totaal GO, giving fans access to live races, highlights, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

Extreme H builds on the legacy of Extreme E with a hydrogen-powered racing format. The championship will showcase eight teams and 16 drivers, eight male and eight female, competing in dramatic environments worldwide, while serving as a testbed for hydrogen technology in both mobility and event power.

Dutch fans are among the most passionate in motorsport, and this deal ensures they can follow the full story of the world’s first hydrogen racing series across both traditional and digital platforms.
