Full match card for Clash in Paris
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk vs. LA Knight
Seth Rollins’ quest to reshape WWE in his own image has created powerful enemies. His long-standing feud with CM Punk intensified when Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam, moments after Punk defeated Gunther for the WWE Championship. LA Knight, who previously faced Rollins during his infamous fake knee injury stunt, also shares a deep rivalry with the champ. Jey Uso also joins the mix, having clashed multiple times with Rollins and his faction in recent months.
John Cena vs. Logan Paul
John Cena’s farewell tour takes a sharp turn after a brutal ambush by Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. The social media sensation challenged Cena to a match, igniting a new feud that could define Cena’s farewell run. With unfinished business still looming with Brock Lesnar, Cena now finds himself in a must-win situation against Paul.
Sheamus vs. Rusev
After weeks of chaos between Sheamus and Rusev, Adam Pearce has ordered them to settle things at Clash in Paris in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match. This no-disqualification fight, made famous by Sheamus, allows anything to happen with no rules.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed, backed by Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman, has made Roman Reigns a personal target in recent weeks, attacking him twice and stealing his sneakers while mocking him as the ‘Tribal Thief’. Tensions reached a boiling point on August 18th episode of Raw, where Reigns challenged Reed to settle the score at Clash in Paris. With the match now official, the stage is set for a high-stakes showdown between two of WWE’s most dominant forces.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Nikki Bella
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella challenged Becky Lynch to the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, on Monday Night Raw in Birmingham this week. This marks Nikki Bella’s first major title opportunity since her in-ring return earlier this year. For Lynch, it will be another title defence, having resisted challenges from Maxine Durpri and Natalya in recent weeks.
UK and Ireland viewers can tune into the last SmackDown live on Netflix on August 29th at 7:30pm BST. This will be the final SmackDown show before Clash in Paris.
Following the events of Clash in Paris, UK and Ireland viewers can tune into Monday Night Raw live on Netflix at 7:00pm BST on September 1st.
