Germany’s OHB outlines record expectations

OHB, the Germany-based space and technology company, says it expects record revenues and profits over the next few years as Europe increases its defence and space-related spending.
This year it expects to report a 16.5 per cent increase in revenues, and another 25 per cent expected by 2027.
OHB assumes that it will win a reasonable share of that European spending including contracts from the European Space Agency, the European Commission and Germany’s own civil and military commitments.
It currently has (mid-2025) a confirmed backlog of work worth €3.067 billion.
Chief Executive, Marco R. Fuchs, commented: “Space is really a booming industry and we are happy to be in the middle of it. Our positioning is very good. There are new companies growing fast and traditional companies that are reshaping. We are the one pure-play space company in Europe that does satellites, rockets, ground infrastructure, operations and downstream services and we are very well positioned.”
