A Real Pain streams on Disney+ this April

A Real Pain, starring Jesse Eisenberg (who also wrote and directed the feature) and Kieran Culkin, will make its streaming debut on Disney+ on April 2nd.
Delving into the universal themes of cultural heritage, acceptance and family relationships set against the scenic backdrop of Poland, A Real Pain has been praised by audiences and critics alike. The film has garnered Culkin numerous Best Supporting Actor awards (including an Academy Award) as well as plaudits and awards for Eisenberg’s screenplay.
The movie sees mismatched cousins, David and Benji, reunite for a tour through Poland to honour their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.
A Real Pain was nominated for two Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards. It also won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and was named one of AFI’s Top 10 Movies of 2024.
