April 18, 2024
Softvelum has completed the integration of Nimble Streamer, a lightweight software media server for live and VoD streaming, with Cloud DRM, a multi-DRM content security solution from Insys Video Technologies.
Nimble Streamer has been recognised by customers from over 100 countries for its broad range of features, including support for a vast number of input protocols, such as RTMP, SRT, NDI, TSP, MPEG-TS, and HLS, along with DVR recording capabilities or server-side ad insertion. By integrating with Cloud DRM, Softvelum expands its security framework for live and VoD streaming and offers its customers seamless access to a fully scalable, cost-effective security solution powered by the world’s biggest DRM providers – Google Widevine, Apple FairPlay and Microsoft PlayReady.
“With Cloud DRM integration, our customers will be able to protect their content across different operating systems and browsers without having to approach different license providers separately,” said Yury Udovichenko, CMO at Softvelum. “We are glad to welcome Insys Video Technologies among our supported DRM providers, and we are convinced our customers will benefit from this addition to our easy-to-use streaming workflow.”
“We are excited to see that Cloud DRM is becoming readily available to the Nimble Streamer customers,” added Dawid Górniak, Product Manager at Insys Video Technologies. “We are confident that our technology can secure streaming companies’ content without them having to worry about the costs increasing exponentially as they scale.”
