Dish forecasts decade of growth

A filing to the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) by EchoStar, the sister business to Dish Network, has given a detailed forecast of what Dish Network expects its future to look like.
The SEC filing comes about because of the plan to – in effect – merge EchoStar with Dish and confirms the financial commitments already given to shareholders.
This year Dish’s management forecasts that the combined operation (based on an analysis from its financial advisors at Evercore) will generate total revenues of $16.57 billion (€15.6bn). Then there’s continued estimated growth over the next decade:
2024 $18.27 billion
2025 $19.29 billion
2026 $20.50 billion
2027 $22.76 billion
2028 $25.90 billion
2029 $28.94 billion
2030 $32.11 billion
2031 $35.43 billion
2032 $38.65 billion
2033 $41.72 billion
EchoStar reminds shareholders that it does not, as a matter of course, disclose long-term projections because of the inherent uncertainty of the business although it believes the forecasts are reasonable – especially in the period to 2027. But it stresses that the SEC prospectus should not be taken as predictive.
