Dinh departs Fox
August 14, 2023

Fox Corp has announced that its chief legal officer, Viet Dinh, is leaving. It comes after Fox’s $787.5 million settlement of a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems
Dinh, who will depart at the end of 2023, joined Fox in 2018, as part of a separation agreement. He will receive a lump sum cash payment of $23 million, Fox said. He will become a special adviser to the company after leaving the full time role.
In June, the company also settled a lawsuit by the former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg, who claimed gender discrimination and accused the network’s lawyers of pressuring her to make misleading statements in the Dominion Voting Systems case.
