June 9, 2023
KidsMe, the Children Content Factory of the De Agostini Group, and Kelebek Media, a UK-based production company active in television, film and media, have partnered to distribute the Italian rights to the animated series Isadora Moon. In the Italian territory, KidsMe will manage the audiovisual and licensing & merchandising rights of the series.
The book series by author and illustrator Harriet Muncaster is an international best seller: on a global scale, it sold over 4 million copies in 6 years and it achieved a global growth of 52% in the last 12 months. In Italy, the book series has already been published by DeAgostini Libri and it is available in 36 languages worldwide.
The series, which is adapted from the books, tells the incredible adventures of Isadora Moon, half fairy, like her mom, and half vampire, like her dad. From her dad she inherited some adorable fangs and the fact that she loves the night; while from her mom, she learned how to use her wand and her fun and creative magical powers. Isadora gets into trouble very easily; however, she always manages to come out on top.
Isadora Moon excites little ones not only through the storytelling, but also because the series promotes self-acceptance, diversity, and not being afraid to be different from others. The show consists of 48 x 11’ episodes and 2 x 22’ specials and it targets children from 4 to 7 years of age.
