Elon Musk’s SpaceX is planning its next Starlink launches on August 19th and August 27th.
First up is mission 4.27 on August 19th that 3.24pm Florida time from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Then, late on August 27th – although this might slip by 24 hours to August 28th – another batch (mission 4-23) will launch from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Centre. This is currently scheduled for 9.52 pm Florida time.
Both launches are subject to the usual caveats on weather and last-minute technical problems. These two launches will add about 100 extra Starlink satellites to the existing fleet of more than 3,000 satellites in orbit.
