WWE’s official YouTube channel, which launched in May 2007, has surpassed 70 billion views.
Interim WWE CEO, Stephanie McMahon, revealed the milestone in a tweet, saying: “WWE’s official YouTube page has crossed 70 billion views – the seventh channel EVER to reach this milestone! A huge thank you to our Superstars, the WWE Universe, and the WWE Media team for creating and delivering premium content to our fans around the world!”
The company is preparing for a busy few weeks, with the 35th SummerSlam event set to take place on July 30th at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, and the first UK stadium event in 30 years, Clash at The Castle, takes place on September 3rd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
