Elon Musk is returning to Florida after a six-month gap to launch another batch of Starlink broadband-by-satellite craft.
It is not known precisely how many Starlink satellites will be aboard the Falcon 9 rocket, but it is extimated there will be about 60.
The launch will happen on November 12th “no earlier” than 7am EST. The landing barge ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas’ was towed to its target landing zone having left Port Canaveral on November 7th.
This week’s launch will be the first Florida launch in almost half a year. There was a Starlink batch launched into polar orbits from Vandenberg in California on September 14th when 51 craft were aboard.
