Lopez replaces Whittingdale as DCMS Minister

Julia Lopez has been appointed Minister of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. She was previously Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office.
John Whittingdale, former Minister for Media and Data, has been sacked from government, having served as Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport between May 2015 and July 2016.
