Portugal: Eleven renews Ligue 1 rights
February 9, 2021
Eleven Portugal has extended its partnership with France’s Ligue 1 for an additional three seasons, until 2023/24.
Eleven will continue to be the exclusive home of France’s top tier in Portugal, as well as bringing fans the Trophée des Champions. In total, Eleven will deliver 381 French games a season live and exclusively across its linear and OTT platforms.
The renewal of Ligue 1 rights further strengthens Eleven Portugal’s premium rights offering, with fans also able to enjoy the UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, F1 and the NFL with Eleven.
Jorge Pavão de Sousa, Managing Director of Eleven Portugal, said: “This renewal is part of a wider strategy of consolidating our content portfolio Portugal, to ensure we deliver the best possible offering to Eleven viewers in the seasons to come. The Ligue 1 Uber Eats is a fantastic competition, and we look forward to continuing to showcase talents like Neymar Jr, Kylian Mbappe, Gelson Martins, Renato Sanches and Anthony Lopes on Eleven. We’d like to thank Ligue 1 for their ongoing support and belief in our service and we look forward to continuing to champion the best of French football to Portuguese fans in the seasons ahead.”
