Sky Spain OTT price cut
January 28, 2019
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Sky’s Spanish OTT service has cut its monthly subscription fee by €3 to €6.99 in an attempt to boost subscriptions.
With the promotion, new and current customers with renewal dates will soon be able to access up to 16 TV channels including VoD content at the new price.
Launched in September 2017, Sky’s OTT service has reached a somewhat lowly 114,000 subscribers, according to the CNMC, far from Netflix’s 2 million and HBO’s 475,000, and even below Rakuten’s 147,000.
