Eleven Sports, at the 11th hour, has secured exclusive rights to the first-leg of the UEFA Europa League qualifier between Olympiakos and Burnley on August 23rd.
Premier League side Burnley are just one round away from qualifying for the Europa League. The Clarets’ victory over Istanbul Basaksehir in the previous qualifying round was not broadcast in the UK but Eleven Sport’s newly-launched streaming service has stepped in to broadcast the game live from Greece.
“Eleven Sports will be the only place Burnley fans can watch their team in action on Thursday night,” said Marc Watson, Executive Chairman and Group CEO, Eleven Sports. “We are always looking to add value for our fans and after a successful launch just two weeks ago, showing Burnley in the Europa League reiterates our desire to do just that.”
