Sky Deutschland launching Sky Q in May
April 18, 2018
Sky Deutschland will launch the advanced Sky Q service next month. Sky Q will be available to all its pay-TV subscribers in Germany and Austria, with Sky+ Pro subscribers receiving the upgrade at no extra cost. Sky Q will also be offered automatically to all new Sky customers.
Unlike in the UK and Italy, where customers received a new STB, Sky Q will be introduced in Germany and Austria through a software update.
Sky Q users will be able to watch UHD content (with a compatible TV) and will have access to a arrange of new features will including start over TV, auto-play for binge-viewing of box-sets and the ability to pick up a show from where they left on a different device.
