Italian DTH platform Tivùsat platform has added the first regular 4K channel to its offer.

Fashion TV 4K is the Ultra HD version of global fashion and style channel Fashion TV. The launch of the 4K version coincided with Milano Fashion Week.  It is available on channel position 289 for all viewers equipped with the necessary reception equipment. However, it is not the only 4K channel distributed by Tivùsat – Hot Bird 4K 1 and Rai 4K are also available but they do not feature a regular programme schedule.

Tivùsat has more than 3 million active smart cards and distributes 97 TV channels, of which 30 are in HD and 3 in 4K
