August 2, 2017
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Telefónica’s IPTV platform Movistar Plus is increasing the price of its premium packages by €5 a month: Fusión+ Ficción Total, Fusión+ Fútbol Total, Fusión+ Premium, Fusión+ Premium Extra, Fusión+4 Premium, Fusión+4 Premium Extra and Fusión+4 Premium Extra Total.
The increase will come with a lift in Gigabytes between 20 and 40 Gb per package and new extra services such as Multiacceso Hogar, multi-access to the platform through four different devices simultaneously.
The company aims to mitigate for the decline of 0.8 per cent in revenues per service in the second quarter in comparison with the same period last year.
