QYOU for WhereverTV
May 23, 2017
QYOU Media, a curator of online video for multiscreen distribution, has partnered with subscription service provider, WhereverTV Broadcasting Corporation. The QYOU’s linear channel of curated video content will be featured in the line-up for WhereverTV Latino, a new service launching in Mexico this summer that caters to the growing appetite for digital TV in Mexico.
The partnership marks further expansion for QYOU in Latin America following a deal with TotalPlay, a triple-pay TV provider in July last year.
Jack Feldman, Director of Latin America at WhereverTV commented: “A big part of our business model focuses on the younger demographics who are digital-savvy and looking for alternatives to traditional cable networks online.” Mr. Feldman went on to say “WhereverTV Latinos’ OTT streaming platform and The QYOU was a natural fit to meeting the viewing demands of that younger 15-24year old market segment and fits perfectly into bringing our next generation service to the Latin American markets.”
