Deutsche Telekom continues to expand its international offerings for corporate customers. To this end, the company signed an extensive partnership agreement with Akamai Technologies, a global player in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services. Effective immediately, Deutsche Telekom can offer Akamai’s full solution portfolio to its corporate customers.
Patrick Molck-Ude, who is responsible for network business for Deutsche Telekom’s corporate customers, says, “We want to continue growing with corporate customers, and coming from our position as number one in Germany, we want to advance our position in the European market and internationally with the help of our new portfolio. The partnership with Akamai is part of this strategy.”
Anette Bronder, responsible for the Digital Division at T-Systems, adds: “Deutsche Telekom aims to double its revenue from cloud services for business customers by the end of 2018. That’s why we are expanding our partner ecosystem continually. It is one of our greatest competitive advantages.
