Portuguese telecommunications operator Nos has launched N Play, an on demand video streaming service for customers of its pay-TV service Iris.
For €7.50 per month, subscribers get unlimited access to over 5,000 movies, TV series and childrens’ content on multiple screens (PC, tablet and smartphone). As part of the launch promotion, N Play will be free during the first three months.
All content is offered in HD, with Portuguese subtitles or dubbed in Portuguese. Some of the TV series available include Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Boardwalk Empire and Fargo.
The N Play catalogue will be renewed each month with new content.
The launch of N Play comes one month before the arrival of Netflix in Portugal.
