Showtime for Playstation, Roku
June 9, 2015
Showtime’s new standalone steaming service will be landing on Roku STBs and Sony’s PlayStation Vue service in the US next month – at the same time it launches on Apple devices.
The CBS-owned premium network last week revealed that the new service, simply called Showtime, will cost $10.99 monthly and would be available in July on Apple TV and other Apple devices including iPhones and iPads, and online.
All three platforms will get the new Showtime service on the same date in early July, in time for the third season premiere of Ray Donovan and Master of Sex.
In addition to on-demand access to all seasons of the network’s series — including Homeland and Dexter — subscribers can watch the live feeds of the network’s channels.
