Just one month after its debut Amazon has confirmed it has greenlit a second season of its first original hour-long drama series Bosch.

Based on Michael Connelly’s internationally best-selling Harry Bosch book series, Bosch has achieved the biggest debut weekend among all Amazon Original Series and is the most-watched title on Amazon Prime Instant Video, across movies and TV series in its first four weeks.

“We’re delighted to see that Amazon customers have immediately embraced Bosch,” said Roy Price, Vice President, Amazon Studios. “Fans will soon be able to enjoy more of this inspired adaptation brought to life by a remarkably gifted cast.”
