Steve Matthews will join the HBO Europe Original Productions team as Executive Producer, Drama Development on September 1st 2014.

A drama producer and script executive with international experience, Matthews will be based in London but will work with the HBO Europe original production centres in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania. He will support HBO Europe’s local creative teams on their original series and miniseries development as well as adaptations from international formats.

Antony Root, EVP Original Programming and Production HBO Europe said: “Steve brings over 20 years of development and production experience across multiple drama genres which I believe will be invaluable as we expand our output at HBO Europe.”
