Wuaki.tv, the European movie and TV streaming service, has teamed up with Google to offer its content (over 5,000 titles) through Chromecast and even sell Chromecast device to all clients who purchase a monthly rental plan for a promotional price of €19.99.
With one million customers, the OTT service claims to be the first online media streaming service in Spain to offer Chromecast support. “We are very proud of being the first in Spain to cooperate with Google to make available the most innovative technology to our users”, said Josep Mitjá, co-founder of Wuaki.tv.
Wuaki.tv allows users to choose between a monthly subscription to the Wuaki.tv Selection, a regularly-refreshed catalogue of movies and TV series from major Hollywood studios and UK distributors, or rental and purchase of newly released blockbusters and TV shows through a single service.
