The Disney Channel has relaunched as the latest entrant in Germany’s FTA TV market that already includes Super RTL and KiKA.
The Disney Channel was previously available on pay TV, but The Walt Disney Company decided to make the move 18 months ago after acquiring free TV channel Das Vierte.
The channel is now live and targeting the age 3 to 13s market with shows such as Jake and the Netherland Pirates, Sofia the First, Phineas and Ferb, and Wizards of Waverley Place.
