International broadcaster CBS Chello Zone has announced a channels deal with Polish DTH platform nc+ for its Universe+ package. CBS Drama, CBS Reality & CBS Action are now available to an additional million subscribers as part of the agreement, and leading movie channel, CBS Europa, launches for the first time with the national television provider.

Formed from the merger between former Polish platforms Cyfra+ and n in 2013, nc+ is now Poland’s leading premium Pay-TV platform, reaching over two million subscribers. The agreement sees the channels formerly available to some Cyfra+ and n viewers now appear together on the package available to the vast majority of nc+ subscribers.

Since launching in December 2012, the CBS Chello Zone EMEA Channels have expanded throughout Europe, along with two new feeds of CBS Action and CBS Drama across Africa. Now, including the nc+ carriage in Poland, more than 11 million additional subscribers can access a CBS Chello Zone Channel in EMEA.”
