SMiT, a global player in the design and development of conditional access modules (CAMs), has announced the successful launch of the Irdeto CI + 1.3 Unified Client CAM to the MENA market, only on My-HD. The Unified Client CAM has been integrated with both Cloaked CA and Softcell.

The Irdeto Cloaked CA solution with a unified hardware and software security client will enable multiple operators to utilise a single, common STB in a fully independent and secure way, which is a direct benefit for subscribers.
