Com Hem acquires Phonera Företag

Swedish telco Com Hem Holding is acquiring Phonera Företag, a telephone and ISP service provider. Annual sales of the acquired operation is 260MSEK (€31m) and the number of customers around 58,000. The takeover is scheduled for March 31st 2014.

With the acquisition of Phonera’s corporate operations, we are taking the next major step and prove that Com Hem will also be attractive choice for larger corporate customers,” says Stefan Trampus, Director of Sales and Marketing at Com Hem.
Phonera Företag has a complete portfolio with services in such areas as IP and mobility, which are of critical significance for the communication and efficiency of corporate customers. By combining Phonera Företag’s broad portfolio with Com Hems experience in providing real-time services such as television and stable, high-speed broadband of up to 1 Gbit/s throughout Sweden,Com Hem will further increase its competitiveness.Com Hemwill now offer TV, broadband, telephony to both private and corporate customers.
The Phonera brand will continue to exist and operate under Com Hem’s administration.
