Spain’s Atresmedia TV group, operator of Antena 3 and La Sexta, and lifestyle magazine Hola (Hello), has entered a partnership to launch a pay-TV channel in Latin America and the States.
The ‘Hola TV’ channel will be up and running over the next few weeks with 24 hour programming about celebrities, royal families, lifestyle and fashion content in line with its printed publication Hola that boasts 15 million weekly readers around the world.
The channel will be produced from Miami by a team led by Ignacio Sanz de Acedo, general director of the channel, with the Hola team overseeing the editorial content. Atresmedia will be responsible for the programming strategy as well as the content production.
