Chello licenses BBC Worldwide content

Chellomedia’s Budapest based operation Chello Central Europe, has licensed more than 150 hours of content from BBC Worldwide for its two movie channels Film Mania and Film Café.
Commenting on the deal, Levente Málnay, CEO Chello Central Europe said: “It is a great pleasure to expand the already existing BBC Worldwide content on our children’s and entertainment channels with exclusive additions to our film portfolio. This new content package will strengthen the market position of our two film channels, and enrich our film library with top quality programmes.”
From December the new programming will be on air in Hungary on Film Mania and Film Café, in Romania on the Romantica channel.
