Turner Broadcasting hires Milanez in UK Business Development team

Turner Broadcasting has appointed Marcos Milanez as Business Development and Distribution Manager, UK & Ireland, across its entertainment brands Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, CNToo, TCM and Adult Swim.
Reporting into Renaud Ploquin, Director of Business Development and Distribution, UK and Ireland, Marcos will be responsible for managing a range of Turner’s existing distribution relationships and new distribution agreements, as well as identifying and developing business opportunities across multi platforms, generating new revenue streams.
Marcos joins Turner Broadcasting from WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), where he was International Media Distribution Sales Manager, responsible for programme sales across EMEA on platforms including TV, TVOD, SVOD, PPV, Mobile, In-flight and Digital.
Prior to his role at WWE, Marcos was Senior Sales Manager at TV Globo International, a leading media organisation in Latin America and the biggest TV network in Brazil. Based in the company’s Brazil headquarters, Marcos spent eight years at TV Globo International, managing the network’s global channel and VOD distribution deals and its relationships with all pay-TV providers worldwide.

He will be a valued addition to the team, working with existing and new affiliate partners to ensure Turner content is widely available in a continually evolving media landscape.”
