Sport1 buys rights to Spanish Primera División
December 5, 2011
Chellomedia’s premium Dutch sports TV channel, Sport1, has again secured the broadcasting rights for the Spanish Primera División football – which will also be broadcast exclusively on Sport1 for the coming three seasons. The broadcasting rights include both live games and edited highlights for television and online. For each Primera División round, Sport1 will broadcast no less than four games from the Spanish competition live in HD.
Last week, Sport1 announced that it also will continue to broadcast the UEFA Champions League for the next three seasons. On Champions League evenings, no more than six games will be broadcast simultaneously on Sport1 channels.
