Eurosport and Ziggo expand agreement

Eurosport and Ziggo have extended and expanded their distribution agreement for Eurosport and Eurosport HD in the Netherlands, as well as the new Dutch language version of Eurosport 2, Eurosport 2 HD and Eurosport’s catch-up TV service.
Eurosport 2, which includes the recently acquired exclusive rights for Bundesliga football, will now be one of the most important elements of Ziggo’s new Plus package.
The agreement includes the Dutch language version of Eurosport 2, which will be launched in 2011, and the launch of Eurosport 2 HD, both of which are new to the Benelux region.
