Lyfe develops virtual STB
April 13, 2011
Lyfe Communications, a technology expert in the development of next generation media services, has completed software development of a virtual Set Top Box (vSTB), and are creating a program to deploy that technology in trials with partner operators.
Greg Smith, CEO of Lyfe Communications commented: “We have blended industry accepted conditional access security with standard user authentication and our own adaptive technologies for high quality, reliable service delivery. Now we are working with new investors to raise the capital to deploy the services enabled by these technologies to our own customer base, and we are offering the same technologies to partners who are interested in bringing the next generation of digital television services to their customers.”
