AT&T U-Verse reaches 3m users
January 28, 2011
US telco AT&T has reported Q4 earnings of $19.9 billion, up from $12.1 billion one year ago. It added 246,000 U-Verse subscribers, 90 per cent of them adding U-Verse TV service, bringing their U-Verse total to 3 million subscribers. Reporting a net gain of 210,000 broadband customers indicates that AT&T’s slow erosion of DSL customers to faster cable broadband services continues. The telco said that their U-Verse service now passes 27 million living units.
