New raft of EuroDOCSIS equipment
December 16, 2009
Cable Europe Labs has announced the certification of new EuroDOCSIS products from Motorola, Cisco, Humax and Thomson.
“We're happy to end the year on another high note with this new wave of certifications. What you're seeing here is evidence of a continued flow of new products that help cable stay ahead in the speed race,” said Cable Europe Labs Managing Director, Malcolm Taylor. “We keep on repeating that having speeds that are 2-6 faster than ADSL offerings require large and continued investments in the latest technology. The certification process is precisely that nexus where the cable providers meet the hardware providers. Speed and scale are outputs of this interaction that translate into high performance.”
