Movie Network GO launches in Canada

thePlatform, the white-label video publishing company, been selected to provide the back-end video management for Astral Television Networks’ newly launched The Movie Network GO, HBO GO Canada and TMN Encore GO streaming service in Eastern Canada. TMN GO will use thePlatform’s “TV Everywhere” (TVE) solution to enable subscribers to catch-up and watch more of their favourite television programming across PCs, tablets and smartphones.
The Movie Network is a pay television service that offers Eastern Canadians premiere access to Hollywood hit movies, new and exclusive HBO content, critically acclaimed Showtime series and Canadian programming.
Subscribers can now stream on-demand this content to their iOS devices via the newly launched TMN GO service. The TMN GO service will carry programmes seen on The Movie Network and multiplex offerings HBO Canada and TMN Encore.
