August 31, 2012
Deutsche Telekom is unveiling a range of innovations for its Entertain TV service at the IFA show in Berlin. ‘Entertain to go’ makes it possible for viewers to access all their favourite programmes on a smartphone, tablet computer or laptop. It gives users access to 40 TV channels and the online video store all through their home network.
Entertain to go will also offer a comprehensive app store, and a free Entertain remote control app that allows the service to be commanded via voice controls
“Entertain has freed viewers of rigid broadcast schedules. With Entertain to go we are taking the next logical step and give television independence of device and location,” commented Niek Jan van Damme, a Deutsche Telekom Board. “With it we underscore our position as innovation driver in Germany’s TV landscape.”
