TivùSat: 55,000 smart card activations in July

During the month of July, Italian DTH platform TivùSat activated 55,316 new smart cards, reaching a total of 1,576,685 active cards.
The regions that registered the highest number of smart card activations in July were Sicily, Lombardy, Lazio and Calabria.
TivùSat viewers can currently access 55 TV and 40 radio channels, including the main services from national broadcasters RAI, Mediaset and Telecom Italia Media.
A total of 30 certified decoders are available on the Italian market, of which one fourth are HD models, as well as 160 TV models, also certified and compatible with the TivùSat CAM.
